Every company has an origin story. Ours is a mattress, a truck, and a Wix website built in 2012. This page is the long version, and this site is the proof. We never took it down.
A single truck starts picking up old mattresses around Atlanta with a simple promise: book online, get an honest price, and keep as much as possible out of the landfill. Most haulers at the time would not quote a price until they were standing in your driveway. We put booking on the internet instead.
The original homepage made one thing the headline: divert mattresses from landfills through recycling, refurbishment, or donation. The tagline read "The GREEN Mattress Removal Choice!" and it stuck. It is still on this site today, exclamation point and all.
Customers kept asking the mattress guys to take the couch, the dresser, the treadmill. The answer became LoadUp, founded in Alpharetta as a nationwide, on-demand junk removal marketplace built on the same idea this site pioneered: upfront online pricing and a network of independent, background checked Loaders.
LoadUp grew into one of the largest junk removal networks in the country, completing hundreds of thousands of pickups, with item-specific brands carrying the original playbook to mattresses, couches, appliances, and beyond. The Atlanta site that started it stayed online the whole time, quietly taking bookings.
LoadUp's booking technology became its own platform, Workmon, built so any home service operator can run on the same engine. It felt right that the first website in the family should be the first heritage storefront on it. The design you are looking at honors the 2012 original. The booking system behind it is brand new.
